I received my B.S. (1997), M.S. & Ph.D. (2003) in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoc at FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics (AMOLF) (02/2003-01/2006) and Department of Chemistry, University of Utah (02/2006-01/2008). At moment, I am a Research Associate at Department of Physics, Carnegie Mellon University (02/2008-present).

Research Interest and Experience
1) New models to bridge the spatial and temporal gaps between simulations and experiments; 2) Multi-scale computational methodology and force field development; 3) Novel advanced sampling techniques in statistical physics; 4) Interactions between biological membranes and peptides/proteins; 5) Activated processes in biological membranes; 6) Nucleation; 7) Phase transitions; 8) Surface/interface properties.
